Job summary

North Branch Area Public Schools is seeking a Middle School PLC Facilitator – Specialist to provide leadership and support to PLC teams at North Branch Area Middle School. This role involves coordinating professional development sessions and collaborating with PLC leaders to enhance teaching practices.

The ideal candidate should be a licensed staff member with at least three years of teaching experience, strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills. Salary augmentation of $2,750 per year along with additional benefits will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in peer coaching and/or mentoring.
• Commitment to serve a possible three years in the position.
• Proficiency in working with computerized documents and technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate professional development sessions for PLCs.
• Establish PLC meeting agendas and summarize meeting progress.
• Collaborate with PLC leaders and administration.
• Complete up to seven classroom observations with PLC members.
