Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education and state licensure

• Ability to relate well to elementary and middle school students
• Experience with evaluation and eligibility for special education services preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement school-wide student management policies in classrooms and on campus
• Create and teach engaging lessons aligned to state standards
• Develop curriculum standards and mapping
• Meet IEPs and student needs within and outside the classroom
• Manage a student caseload
• Attend staff meetings and duties
• Use data to drive instructional practices to improve achievement
• Collaborate with school leaders and faculty to improve teaching practices
