Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Middle School Mathematics Teacher - Leave Replacement from October 2025 through June 2026. We seek an enthusiastic and committed teacher with deep content expertise, knowledge of and practice in constructivist teaching methods, varied assessment methods and tools, and student-centered, interdisciplinary pedagogy. Qualified applicants will have experience teaching middle school mathematics courses, differentiating instruction for a wide range of learners, and incorporating state-of-the-art technology in the classroom. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Teaching:

• Teach 4 sections of middle school mathematics, including Math 5, Math 6, and Math 7 Advanced (Algebra I)
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date online gradebook, effectively and supportively communicate with students and families in a timely manner, and provide written and oral feedback on student progress
• Maintain an up-to-date Google Classroom site, including transparent assessment guidelines and rubrics
• Work with students on an individual basis, as need be

• Attend and actively contribute to all-school, department, division, and team meetings
• Attend community events throughout the school year

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master’s degree in mathematics or related disciplines

Experience: 2 years of related teaching experience in middle school mathematics

Salary Range: $51,371 - $70,886
