Role Description

This is a full-time Middle School Mathematics Teacher role located on-site in Bronx, NY. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for instructing students in middle school mathematics, planning and implementing curriculum, and developing lesson plans. The teacher will also engage in classroom management, assess students' performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Mathematics, specifically at the middle school level, and Algebra
• Proficiency in Mathematics Education and Curriculum Development
• Strong ability to communicate concepts clearly and effectively
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage middle school students in learning
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification or licensure in Mathematics education is preferred
• Prior experience teaching mathematics to middle school students is beneficial
