Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a part-time virtual Middle School Math Tutor to deliver small group instruction during school hours. The role focuses on engaging, student-centered math tutoring in a flexible schedule, within a remote setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of middle school teaching/tutoring, 2 years of virtual tutoring, and a Bachelor’s degree. Strong communication, adaptability, and reliable internet are required to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching or tutoring experience with middle school-aged students.
• 2 years of virtual tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches based on student engagement, need, and skill level.
• Ability to manage student(s) in a small group setting (4).
• Reliable internet connection and computer for virtual tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group tutoring for instruction in middle school math in a virtual setting.
• Use creative approaches to make the subject engaging and relevant.
• Maintain accurate documentation of students' sessions and progress.
• Communicate with parents regularly and the student's teacher as needed.
• Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences.
• Meet students where they are, build on what they already know, and help them move forward by developing the academic skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Position Description:

We are seeking a part-time virtualMiddle School Math Tutor to provide group tutoring instructionduring school day hours.

Type: Part-time

Schedule: Flexible; We are looking for hi a tutor who can support small group tutoring between 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM EDT Monday through Friday. You DO NOT have to be available all 6 hours.
