Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Employ appropriate instructional strategies and activities in order to ensure academic growth for all students.
• Demonstrate current knowledge and skill in using research-based instructional methods.
• Create a safe, respectful learning environment for students and actively engage them in the learning process.
• Modify or provide additional instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
• Work with students before and after school and on weekends to provide additional instruction to ensure content mastery.
• Work with colleagues to create horizontal and vertical alignment of the curriculum and promote organizational growth.
• Demonstrate professional, ethical, and responsible behavior.
• Use instructional technology purposefully in the classroom to extend learning options.
• Demonstrate interest and initiative in ongoing professional development.
• Promote a college-going atmosphere in the classroom and demonstrate high expectations for students.
