Job summary

Muskegon Public Schools seeks a qualified Middle School Math Teacher for 6th grade at Charles Hackley Middle School to join the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidate will hold a Michigan teaching certificate and meet state requirements for certification.

Starting salary ranges from $53,887 to $78,454, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance, plus eligibility for the Michigan ORS retirement plan.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, with emphasis in Math.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE OR; Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state-approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE with one of the following endorsements: EX or EQ.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Starting salary range: $53,887-$78,454.00
