Job summary

Hamilton County Schools is seeking an Algebra I or II teacher to deliver instruction aligned with Tennessee standards for middle- and high-school students. You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons, differentiate for diverse learners, and collaborate with colleagues to support student growth.

Candidates must hold a Tennessee teaching license in Mathematics 6-8 or 6-12 or be enrolled in an accredited teacher preparation program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Tennessee teaching license in Mathematics 6-8, 6-12 or enrolled in an accredited teacher preparation program.
• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus.

• Compensation & Additional Info:

  • Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
  • Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
