All Middle Schools in Gloucester Township are seeking a Math Teacher (Middle School) for a long-term substitute. Ideal candidates hold or are eligible for a New Jersey instructional certificate with endorsement appropriate for middle grades math.

The role reports to the Principal and requires delivering instruction aligned with district curriculum, maintaining student records, and communicating progress to families.

Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey Instructional Certificate with appropriate endorsement (Elementary K-5 with Math/Language Arts Literacy/Science/Social Studies; Teacher of Mathematics/Language Arts Literacy/Science/Social Studies; etc).
• Must meet NJDOE standards for highly qualified teachers.
• Experience teaching middle school math is preferred or required per district needs.

Responsibilities

• Instructs assigned pupils in accordance with curriculum adopted by the Board of Education.
• Demonstrates competence in subject field and meets standards established by NJDOE.
• Maintains records and communicates student progress to parents and administrators.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and maintains orderly conduct.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in professional development as required.
