Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field.
• New Jersey Teacher Certification or Provisional Certification per NJ standards.
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience in middle school or secondary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement standards-aligned math curriculum and lesson plans.
• Integrate STEM themes and project-based learning into daily instruction.
• Use data to drive instruction, monitoring progress and differentiating for diverse learners.
• Engage students in hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Incorporate technology tools to enhance learning and assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular connections.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families to support student learning and growth.
• Serve as an advisor and mentor to students.
