Job summary

The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership within Springfield Public Schools seeks dedicated educators for grades 6-8. This full-time role starts in August 2026, with a base salary up to $96,864.45, commensurate with experience.

Educators will deliver rigorous instruction, foster a sense of belonging, and collaborate with colleagues. They will engage families, mentor students, and participate in professional learning communities to support growth.

Qualifications

• Must have MA DESE educator license in the appropriate subject and grade level.
• Candidates not yet licensed may be eligible for a licensure waiver and are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction with a research-based curriculum.
• Design lessons with scaffolding to ensure access to grade-level content.
• Use data and formative assessment to guide instruction and promote growth.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate in co-teaching teams and professional learning communities.
