Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform circulation tasks: check materials in and out, reserve, prepare, organize, and send overdue notices
• Help students and staff locate, retrieve, and use materials
• Process new or donated materials
• Maintain inventory of library supplies and prepare requisitions
• Supervise students in the library before/after school and at lunch
• Assist in annual inventories of materials and equipment
• Track inter-library loan requests and materials
• Shelve, file, type, create forms and signs, duplicate materials
• Maintain organization of library media space
• Organize books for easy accessibility
• Work with the technology department to facilitate tech use for students and staff
• Establish professional relationships with teachers, parents, specialists and administrators
• Participate in staff development as assigned
