Responsibilities

• Reader's Advisory: Recommend engaging books matching young adult reading levels and interests.
• Collection Maintenance: Catalog acquisitions, process returns, handle circulation, and perform inventories of print and digital media.
• Safe Environment: Maintain an open, welcoming, and inclusive space for active learning.
• Teach and Instruct Leadership class on Life Skills, Communication and Character Development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
• Share knowledge with supervisors and co-workers for mutual benefit.
• Foster strong relationships with parents by engaging in parent teacher conferences.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with parents throughout the school year.

Position Overview:

EPA is seeking a passionate, dedicated Middle School Librarian. The librarian will oversee check in and check out of materials. This position is also responsible for leading a small class, 1 period per day of students interested in Leadership.
