Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with a variety of students and families.
• Confidence and experience with middle school reading, writing, and mathematics.
• In-depth experience with a broad range of educational technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group intervention for students.
• Collaborate with Middle School teaching teams to design differentiated instruction and accommodations.
• Create sustainable plans for recommendations of Psych-Ed evaluations.
• Develop and maintain communication and documentation related to learning support.
• Assess student growth and use data to inform instruction and intervention.
• Build collaborative relationships with families in a way that honors their voices.
• Foster community with students and families for advocacy, education, and connection.
• Attend faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.
