Job summary

Opportunities For Learning (OFL) in Duarte, CA is seeking a Certificated teacher to deliver our standards-aligned instruction and support student success. Pay Range

$2,884.62 - $4,230.77 - Bi-Weekly – Depending on Experience

Ideal Candidate Will

• Deliver our educational program to ensure data-driven, results-based instruction for students in the implementation of the Common Core Standards.
• Teachers will be available to provide direct instruction to students 6 hours a day.
• Teach for mastery of the Common Core Standards and is knowledgeable in single-subject content areas and lesson plans a differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
• Use assessments and data to influence instruction for student success and keep grade, attendance, and retention records.
• Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners.
• Participate in various community groups or functions, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops and assist with state‑mandated student testing.
• Meet with students and parents to discuss student progress and problems.

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS Degree.
• CA Preliminary or Clear multiple‑subject or single subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA).
