Job summary

Valley Catholic Middle School in Beaverton, Oregon seeks an outstanding educator to join our Humanities Department for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is full-time and includes teaching four sections of 7th-grade History and one section of 7th-grade English, with initial English support in semester 1.

Candidates should hold Oregon teaching licensure (endorsement in Social Studies and/or Language Arts preferred) and demonstrate strong knowledge of history, literature, and writing.

Valley Catholic Middle School seeks an outstanding educator to join our Humanities Department during the 2026–2027 school year.

Valley Catholic Middle School is an independent Catholic school serving students in grades six through eight in Beaverton, Oregon. Since opening as a dedicated middle school in 2011, we have built a reputation for academic excellence, meaningful relationships, innovation, and educating the whole child.

Teaching Assignment

Through The End Of Semester 1 (January 2027)

• Serve in a 7th Grade English instructional support role, working alongside the Humanities or Spanish team and preparing for the transition to the permanent teaching assignment.

Beginning Semester 2 (January 2027)

• Four sections of 7th Grade History
• One section of 7th Grade English

This position provides an opportunity to inspire students through the study of history, literature, writing, research, culture, and critical thinking.

Salary Range

$45,397 (Bachelor's Degree, Step 0) – $64,602 (Master's Degree, Step 7+), depending on education and experience.
