Position Overview

Kake City School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our small, community-focused PreK–12 school. This full‑time, certificated position (1.0 FTE) teaches math courses ranging from Pre‑Algebra to upper‑level high school mathematics for grades 7–12.

The ideal candidate is highly qualified in secondary mathematics, skilled in delivering strong Tier 1 instruction, and committed to culturally responsive, place‑based teaching that reflects the values of Kake and our local community. The teacher will use data to guide instruction, collaborate closely with colleagues and families, and contribute positively to a supportive, inclusive school climate.
