Responsibilities

  • Gather, organize, and interpret assessment data on Title I identified students.
  • Utilize best practice instructional strategies and research-based intervention curriculum materials to meet learning needs of identified Title I students.
  • Model the use of intervention strategies in the classroom to general and special education teachers.
  • Analyze existing student achievement data and administer progress monitoring instruments to aid progress monitoring of Title I students.
  • Serve on the MTSS team and participate in weekly MTSS meetings.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, building administrator, and parents when designing the program.
  • Maintain accurate student records and parent communications per Title I law and district policy.
  • Attend professional development to improve instructional strategies and support resources for the intervention program.
  • Follow district guidelines and maintain professional conduct as defined in the handbook.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Administrator.
  • Keep confidential all staff and student records.
