Job summary

Kearsley Community Schools in Flint, MI seeks a Middle School Dance Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year, Start Date ASAP. The role is to develop a competitive, student-centered dance program that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and school pride.

The ideal candidate has coaching experience with teenagers, is organized and enthusiastic, and preferably holds a teaching certificate. You will manage equipment, communicate with parents and athletes, and represent the program with integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience working with teenagers.
• Preference given to applicants with coaching experience.
• Teaching certificate preferred.
• Must complete Live Scan criminal records check.
• Must demonstrate history of positive relationships with athletes and parents.
• Must be knowledgeable, organized, enthusiastic and willing to invest the necessary time.
