Job summary

Kearsley Community Schools is seeking a dedicated athletic coach to lead a school program in Michigan. The successful candidate will coach the assigned team, model professional conduct, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain clear, positive communication with athletes and their parents.

Preference is given to those with coaching experience with teenagers, a teaching certificate, and a proven ability to foster teamwork, discipline, and academic balance within a program.

Qualifications

• Preference will be given to applicants with applicable coaching experience.
• Minimum of three years experience in dealing successfully with teenagers.
• Preference for those holding a teaching certificate.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with athletes and their parents.
• Must be knowledgeable, organized, enthusiastic and willing to invest time to achieve quality.
• Must have the mental and physical stamina to perform responsibilities.
• Must successfully pass a Live Scan Criminal Records check.
