Job summary

ServingSchools seeks a Baseball Coach to lead student-athletes within the Extra and Co Curricular Programs. You will promote fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and healthy routines in a safe environment during practices and games.

You will supervise players, coordinate with school leaders and families, and ensure equipment, facilities, and travel logistics meet district health protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior coaching, playing, or youth mentoring experience preferred.
• Must hold valid Department of Education fingerprinting certification (CHRC).

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured practices focusing on fundamental skills and game rules.
• Adapt coaching methods for athletes at different skill levels and ages.
• Encourage fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship within the program.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and travel.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe and well maintained.
• Communicate schedules, expectations, and updates with families and school staff.
• Manage team rosters, equipment distribution, and game preparations with the AD.
• Represent the district with professionalism and ethical standards.
