Job summary

The Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking an Athletic Coach - Soccer to lead and develop the school's soccer program and student-athletes. You will plan practices, manage games, and collaborate with the athletic department to foster a positive, competitive environment aligned with the school's goals and values.

The ideal candidate has proven coaching experience, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for motivating students within an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work after school and weekends.
• Proven experience in coaching athletic teams.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach and manage athletic team including program organization, practice planning, game preparation and management, and student-athlete development.
• Perform administrative tasks including communication with athletic department, parents, and athletes; update team rosters; oversee statistics; utilize Hudl; attend meetings.
• Participate in end-of-season protocol including collection of uniforms, awards, and coach evaluation.
• Create a competitive, fun, and positive environment for all student athletes.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of Athletics.
