Fort Bend ISD is seeking an Associate Principal for Christa McAuliffe Middle School. The role involves shared leadership across the campus, supervising staff, and acting for the principal as needed to maintain a safe and effective learning environment.

The incumbent will oversee instructional leadership, data analysis, curriculum alignment, and campus operations while coordinating with the principal on the Campus Improvement Plan and staff development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification.
• AEL/ILD/ILT or equivalent certification required within 3 months of start date.
• Minimum 2 years campus-level administrative experience as assistant principal or dean of instruction.
• Minimum 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide instructional leadership and analyze data to raise student achievement.
• Assist with district-approved curriculum implementation across courses.
• Develop Campus Improvement Plan and support curriculum-related activities.
• Lead staff development initiatives aligned to campus goals.
• Monitor student behavior, attendance, and enforce discipline rules.
