Job summary

Amherst Regional Middle School is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Principal to provide immediate leadership support for the 7th and 8th grade campus in Amherst, MA. The role partners with the Principal to ensure a safe, supportive, and productive environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

Massachusetts Administrator License (PK-8 or 5-12) required or equivalent.
Leadership experience at middle school level preferred or other school settings.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, evaluate, and support staff effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage school operations in collaboration with the Principal.
Supervise and evaluate staff and provide coaching as appropriate.
Oversee student discipline and collaborate with counselors and support staff.
Contribute to a positive school culture and climate through restorative approaches.
Collaborate with staff to address concerns promptly and equitably.
