Job Description
Intelligentum, LLC, a Rockville, Maryland-based custom software development and IT services company, is looking for a Java Developer (middle) for our Federal contracts.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns. Ability to produce clean, extendable object structure based on Technical Requirements;
- Extensive knowledge of Java 8, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JDBC;
- Thorough understanding of REST API and micro-services architecture;
- Hands-on experience in building normalized databases. Understanding database architecture and the ability to create database schema or update the existing one;
- Proven ability to develop complex SQL requests, stored procedures, functions, and triggers;
- Experience with Hibernate in conjunction with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and SQL;
- Experience with Angular 5+ or similar frameworks;
- Good knowledge of Bootstrap 2+ and at least 1 year of hands-on experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge in building front-end automations using jQuery 3+;
- Understanding of best software development practices and ability to develop multi-tier applications implementing these practices;
- Must have awareness and experience implementing security controls and practices;
- Understanding of SDLC in the scope of large-scale enterprise software systems;
- Experience with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks;
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud is a plus;
- Experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment;
- BS/MS degree with at least 5 years of experience;
- Must be fluent in both spoken and written English — this position requires a lot of communication with stakeholders;
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder;
- Must be local to the Maryland/VA/DC area (or willing to relocate on fairly short notice — 4-6 months at the most!);

- Remote work is OK for now but WILL NEED TO RELOCATE TO THE AREA once COVID is over!
