Job summary

Tutor Partners, LLC is seeking experienced high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring at LACOE partner schools in Los Angeles County. The role runs during the school day, with a schedule from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday, through the end of the 26-27 school year.

Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, and qualifications include an associate degree or 24 college credits, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or minimum of 24 college credits required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with K-12 students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to pass required background clearances (e.g., LiveScan/fingerprinting) as required by LACOE.
• Reliable transportation to assigned site.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and push-in math support aligned to student needs during the school day.
• Track and report student progress.
• Participate in instructional planning with teachers and school leaders, administration of assessments, and coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with Tutor Partners staff and site personnel to coordinate scheduling and materials.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment.

Position Overview

Tutor Partners is seeking experienced qualified high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) at its specialized high schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct academic impact with students during the school day.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, starting now through the end of the 26-27 school year.
