BridgePrep Academy, Inc. is seeking a reflective, dedicated Middle-High School Math Teacher to lead inquiry-based instruction at our North Miami Beach campus.

You will guide standards-aligned middle school math lessons and foster a culture of high expectations with strong student support. The role emphasizes differentiating instruction for diverse learners, collaborating with a campus leadership team, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certification in Middle Grades General Math (5-9) or Math (6-12).
• Background screening clearance through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• Prior instructional experience teaching middle school math is preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Math Education, STEM, or related subject area may qualify for salary supplement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned daily middle school math lessons.
• Establish routines and schoolwide behavior systems with fidelity.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners (ESE, 504, ELL).
• Engage families as partners in learning with clear progress communication.
• Submit lesson plans, student data, and compliance documentation on time; participate in weekly PD and coaching.

Minimum Amount: $52,066.61 (Degreed base $47,566.61 + entry $2,500 referendum + $2,000 Math stipend)

Maximum Amount: $68,644.77 (Certified base $49,644.77 + max $12,500 referendum + $2,000 Math stipend + $2,500 Master's)

Inquiry-Based Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned daily middle school math lessons.

Classroom Culture: Establish consistent routines and implement schoolwide behavior systems with fidelity, creating a safe, inclusive, and inquisitive learning environment.

Student Support: Differentiate instruction for diverse learners (ESE, 504, ELL, and intervention) by implementing required accommodations and modifications.

Family Partnership: Actively engage families as true partners in learning through consistent, clear communication regarding student progress.

Professional Responsibilities: Submit lesson plans, student data, and compliance documentation on time; actively participate in weekly PD, department check-ins, and coaching sessions.

MEASURABLE YEAR 1 SUCCESS METRICS

70%+ of students demonstrate grade-level mastery in core math standards.

Classroom culture aligns with schoolwide behavior expectations with minimal discipline referrals.

Achieve "Highly Effective" ratings on professionalism indicators (punctuality, timely lesson plan and data submissions).

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.

Certification: Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certification in Middle Grades General Math (5-9) or Math (6-12).

Mindset: Alignment with SMART Management and BridgePrep Academy’s mission, values, and student-first culture.

Compliance: Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Preferred:

Prior instructional experience teaching middle school math.
