Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned daily middle school math lessons.
• Establish routines and implement schoolwide behavior systems to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners (ESE, 504, ELL, and intervention) with appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Actively engage families as partners in learning with clear progress communication.
• Submit lesson plans, student data, and compliance documentation on time; participate in weekly PD and coaching sessions.

Salary Range: $52,066.00 To $68,644.00 Annually

Middle-High School Math Teacher

Location: 18801 NE 22 Avenue, North Miami Beach, FL 33180

Minimum Amount: $52,066.61 (Degreed base $47,566.61 + entry $2,500 referendum + $2,000 Math stipend)

Maximum Amount: $68,644.77 (Certified base $49,644.77 + max $12,500 referendum + $2,000 Math stipend + $2,500 Master's)

Student Support: Differentiate instruction for diverse learners (ESE, 504, ELL, and intervention) by implementing required accommodations and modifications.

Family Partnership: Actively engage families as true partners in learning through consistent, clear communication regarding student progress.

Professional Responsibilities: Submit lesson plans, student data, and compliance documentation on time; actively participate in weekly PD, department check-ins, and coaching sessions.

MEASURABLE YEAR 1 SUCCESS METRICS

70%+ of students demonstrate grade-level mastery in core math standards.

Classroom culture aligns with schoolwide behavior expectations with minimal discipline referrals.

Achieve "Highly Effective" ratings on professionalism indicators (punctuality, timely lesson plan and data submissions).

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.

Certification: Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certification in Middle Grades General Math (5-9) or Math (6-12).

Mindset: Alignment with SMART Management and BridgePrep Academy’s mission, values, and student-first culture.

Compliance: Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Preferred:

Prior instructional experience teaching middle school math.

Master's Degree in Math Education, STEM, or a related subject area (eligible for salary supplement).
