Job summary

Trumbull County Educational Service Center in Ohio seeks an Intervention Tutor for McDonald Local Schools. This role supports grades 7–12 with targeted math and ELA intervention, 7:50 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2026-2027 school year, at McDonald High School.

Responsibilities include one-to-one and small-group support, collaborating with teachers, reinforcing foundational skills, and assisting in other content areas as needed. Education licensure preferred; BCII & FBI checks required.

Qualifications

• Education Licensure preferred.
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred.
• Experience supporting students in Math and/or English Language Arts preferred.
• Successful BCII & FBI background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic intervention and skill development for students in grades 7-12.
• Primarily support students in Math and English Language Arts, individually and in small groups.
• Reinforce foundational skills and address identified areas of academic need.
• Provide academic assistance in other content areas as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to monitor and support student progress.
