Voodoo, a consumer tech company, is seeking a talented Game Designer for its internal RPG studio. You will drive design pipeline, implement features, and own balancing, collaborating across UI/UX, gameplay, and analytics to deliver a high-quality, live mobile title.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in gaming as a designer, mobile/F2P/RPG experience, data-driven mindset, and strong English communication. Relocation support is available to Warsaw and Beijing-based options.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in the gaming industry as a designer.
- Experience on mobile games, F2P or RPG.
- LiveOps experience is a huge plus.
- Creative and hacker mindset.
- Strong gameplay sense with attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of casual games and trends.
- Collaborative mindset with feedback culture.
- Ownership and accountability for work.
Responsibilities
- Define a clear, cohesive design pipeline.
- Pitch and implement big features, breaking them down.
- Own game balancing, pace, and feel.
- Back up ideas with data points.
- Deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics.
- Contribute to UI, UX, gameplay logic, and performance.
- Fine-tune balancing and pacing.
- Benchmark market trends to stay current.
- Analyze gameplay and user behavior.
