Job summary

Lanvera is seeking a Mid to Senior DevOps Engineer to partner with software, security, and operations teams. You will enhance how we build, deploy, monitor, and support production systems on Azure and beyond, covering CI/CD, container orchestration, observability, and Windows compute environments.

The role demands strong technical depth, architectural judgment, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, platform, and network layers.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Eng or related field.
• 3+ years with Azure, CI/CD design/maintenance (Azure DevOps preferred).
• 3+ years Kubernetes, Helm, Docker.
• 2+ years telemetry/observability; OpenTelemetry preferred.
• 2+ years observability/APM tools (Datadog preferred).
• Understanding of DevOps patterns: CI/CD, GitOps, platform architecture.
• 5+ years building/managing Windows VMs (IaC or manual).
• 5+ years networking and security in cloud/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infra; multi-cloud as needed.
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads using Docker & Helm.
• Apply DevOps patterns across CI/CD, GitOps, and platform architecture.
• Implement telemetry using OpenTelemetry (OTLP).

THE POSITION - ONSITE 80%

Mid to Senior Level DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will partner with software engineering, security, and operations teams to improve how we build, deploy, monitor, and support Lanvera's production systems. This role spans cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, observability, and Windows-based compute environments.

You will work on systems that must be secure, highly available, and compliant with the expectations of financial services and enterprise clients. Success in this role requires strong technical depth, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, platform, and network layers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, with flexibility to work across additional cloud platforms as needed.
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads using Docker and Helm.
• Apply DevOps patterns and practices across CI/CD, GitOps, and platform architecture.
• Implement and maintain telemetry using Open Telemetry (OTLP) standards.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and SLO/SLI practices using observability platforms such as Datadog.
• Troubleshoot incidents across infrastructure, applications, pipelines, and integrations.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for platform services, deployment models, and operational tooling.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

• 3–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Competencies

• 3+ years of experience with one or more cloud platforms (Azure strongly preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (Azure DevOps preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience intelemetry and observability, with preference for OpenTelemetry (OTLP)
• 2+ years of experience with one or more observability/APM tools (Datadog preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of DevOps patterns and practices related to CI/CD, GitOps, and platform architecture.
• 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows VMs (via IaC, configuration management, or manual administration).
• 5+ years of experience in networking and security principles in cloud and hybrid environments.

NICE TO HAVE

• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, C#, Go, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, MassTransit, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Familiarity with compliance and audit requirements in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, etc.).
• Experience with incident management, change management, and ITIL-aligned operational practices.
