Job summary

Critical Solutions seeks a Mid - Systems Engineer specializing in MECM/SRE with a Secret clearance. On-site roles in Norfolk, VA, and Pearl Harbor, HI involve building reliable cloud pipelines and automated testing within a DoD contract.

You will automate, monitor, and optimize MECM for enterprise-scale deployments while supporting SRE practices and DevSecOps integration. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, and experience with MECM, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and Master's degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification required.
• Ability to access SIPRNet from NMCI location on short notice.
• Experience with automated scripting (bash, Python).
• Experience designing/deploying MECM at enterprise scale.
• Automating MECM tasks with PowerShell, APIs, and IaC tools.
• Strong Windows endpoint management experience and patching strategies.
• Experience integrating MECM with Azure/AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure speedy and reliable software deployments and monitor systems.
• Develop features to automate, scale, test, and secure cloud infra and pipelines.
• Enhance monitoring via Splunk or dashboards; identify bottlenecks.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for CI/CD.
• Build automated systems for continuous performance, load, and stress testing.
• Collaborate with SREs, developers, and operations on reliability goals.
• Validate monitoring, logging, and alerting under failure conditions.
