Job summary

CriticalSolutions, LLC is seeking a Mid - Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to join our Norfolk, VA-based team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. The role emphasizes reliability, automated testing, and SRE-driven improvements across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will work with developers, SREs, and operations to enhance deployment pipelines, implement IaC, and ensure robust monitoring and performance testing.

Qualifications

Currently possess and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
Requires DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification or higher.
Experience with MECM, cloud infra, and automation is essential.
Strong scripting (PowerShell, Python) and IaC tooling experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with development and operations to enable fast, reliable deployments.
Develop features using AI code tooling to automate cloud pipelines.
Enhance performance monitoring via Splunk or dashboards.
Identify bottlenecks and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
Advance SRE practices with automation, IaC, and CI/CD integration.
Design and maintain automated test suites for infra and apps.
Build pipelines for continuous performance testing and load testing.
Ensure monitoring, logging, and alerts function during failures.
