Belay Technologies seeks a Mid Software Engineer to join our intel team in Columbia, MD. Work on a JSP-based production system, improving user workflows while maintaining secure data displays for analysts.

You will collaborate with the Content Presentation team to convert data into meaningful intelligence views, and contribute to parsers, displays, and capabilities for secure environments.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 14 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 18 years without the degree.
• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components.
• Experience generating technical documentation.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software.
• Proficiency with Java, C++, or Python and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid Software Engineer to join our intel team. The ideal candidate shall work with the Content Presentation team makes data actionable to users by displaying data to analysts in a safe and secure environment. The team develops parsers and displays to convert and enrich data into meaningful intelligence views. This position is for a Java Server Pages (JSP) developer. The developer will be responsible for maintaining a highly-used production system. The developer will work directly with the customer and users to improve user workflows and provide improved capabilities.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• 14 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 18 years without the degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience generating technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software

Salary Range: $70,000 to $190,000
