Job summary

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to support the HPDA PMO and generate key systems engineering deliverables across all lifecycle phases.

Ideal candidates hold TS/SCI with polygraph and degrees from accredited engineering programs, with several pathways for entry including Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD levels. The team collaborates with government stakeholders and senior executives.

Qualifications

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph required.
  • Education options include high school diploma with experience or degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD level in engineering or related fields.
  • Candidates must exhibit systems engineering expertise across the lifecycle and be able to interact with government counterparts and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HPDA PMO by gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation (RVTM, TEMP, LCSP, System Architecture Documents).

Education

High School Diploma / GED + 6 years of general system engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline + 2 years of systems engineering experience
Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline
PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to join our intel team. This candidate will apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

  • (U) Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • (U) Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • (U) Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • (U) Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
    OR
    A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
    OR
    A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
    OR
    A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Position Details:

Support the HPDA PMO with gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation such as Requirements Verification, Traceability Matrix (RVTM), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), System Architecture Documents and others as needed.
