Job summary

Bcore is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer for a TS/SCI with Poly role in Herndon, VA. The candidate will design, develop, and deploy enterprise IT and cloud-based solutions for a government customer, working across Windows and Linux environments and collaborating with senior leadership.

The position emphasizes modern frameworks (React, Node.js, TypeScript) and DevOps tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins), with strong emphasis on security, portability, and multi-network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 11+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and C#.
• Experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and .NET.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong DevOps practices and tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience on Windows and Linux.
• Ability to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; SSMS familiarity.

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure, including web applications, network infrastructure, and cloud services. This is a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding opportunity to work on a complex and high-profile program.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., Systems Engineering)
• Minimum of 11+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Java and C#
• Experience with modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, and .NET
• Hands-on experience developing solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle)
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and related tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, Jenkins), including pipeline development, release management, and orchestration
• Proficiency with scripting languages, preferably Python or PowerShell
• Experience developing in both Windows and Linux environments
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Experience architecting, implementing, and maintaining solutions within cloud environments (e.g., AWS or Azure)
• Strong documentation skills, including developing concepts of operations and standards of practice for tiered maintenance support
• Ability to interface with senior leadership and provide regular status update
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including
• Database design and administration concepts
• CRUD operations and query optimization
• Implementing SQL commands within application code
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Understanding of data protection and data loss prevention considerations
• Experience developing applications intended to operate across multiple networks or environments, including
• Disconnected, restricted, or differently classified networks
• Designing applications with portability, security boundaries, and deployment constraints in mind
• Adapting development practices to meet varying compliance, accreditation, and operational requirements

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is$175,000 - 195,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
