Responsibilities

• Assist with picking and preparing orders for shipments.
• Receive, transfer, and store incoming freight at the Toledo division.
• Unload incoming freight and verify products against packing lists.
• Load outbound transfer trucks and prepare material for shipment.
• Maintain safety by securing and labeling products for delivery.
• Transfer picked orders to staging area per the delivery schedule.
• Assist in warehouse cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY

Located at our Toledo, OH location, the person in this position would assist with picking and preparing orders for shipments as well as receive, transfer, and storage of incoming freight in our Toledo division. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Detail Oriented - Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock.
• Equipment Usage - Using fork trucks and order picking equipment.
• Loading Products - Loading outbound transfer trucks.
• Preparing Orders - Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment
• Safety - Securing and labeling products for delivery
• Process - Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.
• Open Communication - Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.
• Teamwork - Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Prior Warehouse Experience

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.
