Job summary

Family Ark in southern Indiana is seeking a part-time Recovery Support Staff to oversee Lotus House, a transitional housing program for pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery. You will support safety, coordinate day reporting and transport needs, and assist with childcare.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree, 21+ years old, and ability to pass background checks; valid driver's license; prior Peer Support certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Two years of post-secondary education or Peer Support Specialist certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass extensive background checks.
• Family Ark is a drug free workplace; pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and security of programs and clients.
• Assist in coordination of day reporting/treatment programs (community service, education, parenting, childcare, substance abuse treatment, IL skills).
• Provide transportation and assist with childcare as needed.
• Complete required documentation (daily case notes, shift log, maintenance requests, visitation notes).
