Job summary

Family Ark is seeking a Recovery Support Staff member for the Lotus House residential program in southern Indiana. The role requires overseeing operations, providing transportation, and supporting pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery.

The position offers full-time hours (4p–12a, five days a week) with a 0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift, generous PTO and paid holidays, and a collaborative, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree; two years of post-secondary education or Peer Support Specialist certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• Subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and security of programs and clients; enforce Family Ark policies.
• Coordinate day reporting/treatment programs: community service, education, parenting, childcare, IL skills.
• Provide transportation; assist with childcare when needed.
• Attend agency-wide and weekly staff meetings; complete daily shift notes and other documentation.
• Participate in continuing education and trainings; maintain compliance with reporting laws.
• Oversee hygiene and maintenance of facilities; report hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
