Job summary

Nazdar is hiring a Material Handler in Lenexa, KS to support material movement in the plant. The role runs 1:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, at $20/hr with a $2.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities include forklift relocation, inventory handling, data entry with iPad/scanners, and stock rotation, with safety and quality procedures guiding daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing/production required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to utilize iPad and Scanners for data entry.
• Safety-oriented
• Infor M3, ERP, or other inventory management system experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Relocate products by forklift to open locations.
• Modify storage racks and locations as directed by the Supervisor.
• Pro-actively identify items in the wrong locations and relocate them.
• Assist with pulling products for future batches from raw material storage, partials, q-stock, quarantine, or rework.
• Restock products to Raw Material Storage, Packaging, and Processing Shelves.
• Assist with returning materials to batch storage locations that require a forklift.
• Assist with stock rotation.
• Assist with cleaning areas outside the general batch area and pigment racks.
• Distribute empty drums to the proper location.
• Dispose of trash and waste.
• Follow safety, quality, and efficiency SOPs.

Job description

Nazdar has an open position in the production department for aMaterial Handler. This position will provide support by assisting with material handling in the plant.

Material Handler – Hours for position: 1:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Monday - Thursday.
$20/hr PLUS a $2.00 shift differential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Relocate products by physically moving them to an open location requiring a forklift or other means of lifting.
• Modify storage racks and locations as directed by the Supervisor.
• Pro-actively identify items in the wrong locations and return them to the correct locations or relocate to the current location.
• Assist with pulling products for future batches from areas such as raw material storage, partials, q-stock, quarantine, or rework.
• Re-stock any products to locations such as Raw Material Storage, Packaging, and Processing Shelves
• Assist with returning materials to batch storage locations that require a forklift or other means of lifting.
• Assist with stock rotation.
• Assisted with cleaning areas outside the general batch area, pigment racks, drum racks, and back aisles.
• Assist with the distribution of empty drums to the proper location.
• Assist with disposal of trash and waste.
• Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
