Job summary

Port Jersey Logistics Network in Richmond Hill, GA is seeking a Mid-shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk to verify driver check-ins, confirm pickup/delivery details, and maintain yard and paperwork accuracy.

The role supports multiple departments, coordinates door assignments, updates schedules, and communicates issues to customer service. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, and benefits include competitive pay, health/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving is a plus.
• Ability to verify driver information and paperwork.
• Strong organizational skills for yard management and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Check drivers in and out of the facility.
• Verify pickup and drop-off information.
• Assign doors to drivers based on warehouse locations.
• Maintain the schedule and update appointments as drivers check in/out.
• Verify packing lists and Bills of Lading for accuracy.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for compliance with specifications.
• Keep original paperwork organized for end-of-day processing.
• Coordinate item forwarding to other departments as needed.
• Maintain yard checks and shared trailer location information.
• Communicate issues to customer service as needed.
• Align emails with external BOLs and order instructions.
