Job summary

Riverside Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a CNA for mid-shift responsibilities to enhance patient satisfaction and safety through purposeful rounding, timely responses, and bedside presence during peak activity hours.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor fall risks, document observations, and collaborate with RNs and the care team to support patient comfort and dignity in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform required physical tasks and duties with patients.
• Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform purposeful rounding at established intervals focusing on pain, positioning, personal needs, and possessions within reach.
• Anticipate patient needs to reduce call light usage and improve responsiveness.
• Provide timely comfort measures and report changes to the RN.
• Monitor fall risks and maintain a safe, clutter-free environment.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and deliver patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team during rounds and handoffs.
