Job summary

TSC in Colorado is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, implement, and verify software and control components for advanced unmanned aircraft systems. You will work with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements, prototype solutions, and integrate hardware and software in lab and flight environments.

The role requires strong C/C++, Python, MATLAB or JavaScript skills, embedded systems experience, and solid math fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or CS field with 4+ years of experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret DoD clearance.
• Programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or JavaScript.
• Embedded systems experience for autonomous vehicles.

Job description

Develop, maintain, debug, and test embedded software and control components for Group 4/5 unmanned aircraft systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and product owners to analyze requirements, prototype and integrate software and electrical systems, and evaluate solutions in laboratory and field environments.

Requirements:

• Requires an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least four years of experience
• along with U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance.
• Candidates need programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or JavaScript
• embedded systems experience for autonomous vehicles
• strong software engineering and applied mathematics fundamentals
• effective communication and documentation skills.
