Job summary

UpcoMinds, a dynamic IT company with 28 years of experience, is partnering with a leading banking institution to hire a Mid.NET Engineer for the Core Banking Technology team. The role focuses on mission-critical financial systems in a regulated environment where performance, scalability, resilience, and data integrity matter.

You will design distributed systems, shape architecture decisions, and build scalable banking platforms using modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core;
• Good knowledge of consuming and designing REST APIs;
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent);
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with clear timelines;
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps etc;
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies;
• Prior experience in a banking or fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend application using .NET Framework and .NET Core;
• Participate in the design and implementation of APIs and integration services with external systems;
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and implement them in code;
• Participate in code review, unit testing and QA processes from the development side;
• Support bug fixing and optimization of existing code;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
