Wayfair is seeking a Transportation Associate in Lathrop, CA. You’ll help deliver fast, reliable home deliveries by inspecting loads, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate TMS records to support a robust middle-mile network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehousing or transportation required.
• Experience with dispatching or trailer loading is a plus.
• Proficiency with a Transportation Management System and Excel/Sheets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assessment: Inspect loading quality of truckloads to meet Wayfair standards.
• Strategic Partnerships: Build rapport with fulfillment teams and supervisors to improve loading practices.
• Carrier Communication: Coordinate with truckload and small parcel carriers to manage schedules and on-time pickups.
• Systems Management: Update Manhattan TMS with truckload movements and milestones.
• Operational Reliability: Maintain attendance and use thumb clocks for shifts.
