Job summary

Cyera, a leading cloud data security company, is seeking a Commercial Account Executive for the Heartland US territory. The role covers full-cycle selling of Cyera’s data security and data risk management solutions to mid-market prospects and clients.

You will analyze customer business needs, map Cyera’s technology to pain points, and collaborate with Sales Engineers to drive value and closing outcomes. Requires travel ~50% and US-based residency.

Qualifications

• Results-oriented mindset with history of overachievement in hyper-growth environments.
• 5+ years selling mid-market SaaS in cloud/security/data space.
• Proficient in value-based solution selling and delivering business outcomes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building; able to engage C-suite.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data security.
• Knowledge of data security frameworks and their business impact.
• Experience with formal sales processes, qualification frameworks, and forecasting tools.
• Able to travel ~50% as required by sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Cyera Data Security Solutions and value to customers.
• Develop territory plan with clear goals and accurate forecasting.
• Lead the sales cycle from pipeline to close.
• Create and deliver custom meetings and business value propositions onsite.
• Position and advise CISOs, CDOs, CPOs and CIOs with executive-level insights.
• Negotiate and close business with new and existing customers.
• Grow Cyera presence with alliances and channel partners.
• Attend events and industry networking activities.
• Align with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Executives.
