Job Title: Mid Market Account Executive
Location: United States - Remote (US East Region)
THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Mid Market Account Executive will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing mid market sales team and will be our boots-on-the-ground solution to building personal relationships and making our prospective mid market customers successful.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
  • Educating the market about the power of Salesloft and generating opportunities with net new customers.
  • Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied and referenceable customers.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated and strategic ‘hunter’ who is laser-focused on generating net-new business within North America. Specifically, you will play a pivotal role in solidifying our position as an anchor technology company within the U.S. by winning high visibility deals and crushing your annual quota. As a top-performer, you will have immense growth potential and unlimited opportunity to make an impact. There is no cap on commission in this role.

THE TEAM:

Our Salesloft Mid Market sales team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming sales professionals who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

  • Vision: Fundamentally transform the way buyers and sellers drive repeatable outcomes

The Mid Market sales team consists of results-oriented SaaS sales professionals with a strong hunter mentality and a desire to win. They are self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about evangelizing the future of sales innovation. They lead with humility and respect, earn customer trust, put team over self, redefine what’s possible, and deliver big results.

THE SKILL SET:
  • 3+ years of proven hunting & closing experience in an enterprise software environment
  • Experience establishing strategic C-level relationships within major software accounts
  • Ability to run a full sales lifecycle, start to finish, within the Mid Market segment
  • Experience executing detailed product presentations and web demonstrations to C-level executives, VPs, directors, and sales managers
  • Adept at utilizing internal resources (Sales Development, Sales Engineers, etc.) to build brand awareness, assist in sales cycles, and close deals
  • Superb listening skills; ability to understand objections and convert skeptics into customers
  • High level of empathy and integrity
  • Experience hunting net-new customers in greenfield territory
  • Consistent quota attainment and overachievement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation to learn our story and culture
  • Join our 3-week Sales Bootcamp to learn our software and sales skills
  • Start 1:1s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet team members, and explore your territory
  • Set your OKRs and develop an action plan
  • Meet key partners in various departments
  • Become demo certified
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
  • Become a product expert and close your first deal
  • Confidently engage prospects via calls and demos
  • Achieve your activity goals
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
  • Meet or exceed your quota
  • Complete training on negotiation and product updates
  • Focus on your OKRs
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
  • Be recognized as a top-performing AE
  • Help train and motivate new team members
