Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for identifying, qualifying, orchestrating, and closing new business within new and existing accounts with a focus on achieving revenue goals consistently on a quarterly and annual basis.
  2. Focus on new logo acquisition in the under 1000 employee segment, including commercial, government, education, and state and local entities.
  3. Develop a detailed understanding of organizational structure, competitive landscape, and technology heat map within the entire account list.
  4. Develop and execute field sales campaigns to create demand, working closely with Lead Generation and Sales Engineering resources to build and manage a robust pipeline of new business.
  5. Engage with local partner teams, including Cisco and value-added resellers, to generate pipeline.
  6. Articulate the BlueCat value proposition to senior IT leaders, effectively identifying customer pains, highlighting ROI, and business value through a consultative sales approach.
  7. Collaborate with local solutions architects to conduct discovery, present the BlueCat vision, share architecture, build bill of materials, negotiate commercials, and navigate procurement processes.
  8. Manage internal and external resources within a team environment to execute account strategies and maximize sales efforts and success rates.
Qualifications
  1. Fluent in English and Spanish.
  2. Experience selling DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) solutions at an enterprise level is an asset.
  3. Experience engaging with C-Level contacts in the networking industry regarding networking automation, DNS security, and hybrid cloud environments.
  4. Proven commercial sales experience, including transactions with Fortune 1000 companies.
  5. Successful track record in strategic account selling and achieving income targets.
  6. Ability to build a quality pipeline, execute account plans, and develop strategies.
  7. Experience working collaboratively in results-driven, team-oriented sales organizations.
  8. Proficiency with Salesforce.com (SFDC).
  9. Sales process training such as MEDDIC or force management is a plus.
  10. Experience in forecasting and deal discovery.
  11. Experience conducting network architecture reviews.
  12. Experience with account mapping and future state buildouts.
  13. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
  14. At least 3 years of experience in mid-market or enterprise software sales, or equivalent experience without a degree.
