Job summary

Cyberlocke is hiring a Mid-Level Managed Services Engineer for an in-office role in Plano, TX. You will handle complex IT challenges, lead system optimizations, and support documentation while delivering strong client-facing service and 24/7 shift readiness.

You will manage Windows and Linux environments, automate tasks with PowerShell/Python/Ansible, and ensure security and availability through Veeam, SolarWinds, AWS, and Azure integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong Windows/Linux & cloud proficiency required.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Willingness to work rotating 24/7 in-office shifts.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve high-level technical issues with a customer-first mindset.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize client network and infrastructure environments.
• Lead tier II escalation across systems, networks, and apps.
• Manage Windows and Linux systems; tune performance and hardening.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Support backups, redundancy, and security strategies (Veeam, SolarWinds, AWS, Azure).
• Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Design, implement, and support operational systems and tooling.
• Communicate with stakeholders during incident lifecycle.
• Manage ticket queues and SLA expectations; perform off-hours as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT
