Overview

• The practice focuses on technology transactions within the health care and life sciences sectors.
• Experience should include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial technology agreements such as software and SaaS, data licensing, cloud services, professional services, and strategic collaboration agreements, as well as those for digital health products and services.
• A working knowledge of privacy and data security laws relevant to health care and health technology, including HIPAA and state-specific laws, is required.
• Preferred experience includes advising on health technology and artificial intelligence matters, encompassing development, deployment, licensing, and use of AI-enabled products, health data, and digital health solutions, along with negotiating business associate agreements and data protection provisions.
• The role requires the ability to manage transactions independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and clients.
